My son and I really enjoy coming here. The food is pretty good and lanes are always available. The best feature about Brunswick Zone is their Summer Game passes!!
Don't go on league nights... you'll be waiting for a while. After 9 on Wednesdays are the best time to go!
Unfortunately I have to rate this bowling alley a one-star. Please allow me to just jump right into why... As we all know whenever you go to a bowling alley it requires you to wear special shoes... now if you don't have shoes for the bowling alley, you have the convenience to actually rent your shoes from the bowling alley itself. Now this is where it gets disgusting... when I asked the guy at the front counter if he can spray my shoes please, (and by the way it was after midnight) the guy refused. Instead he explained to me and my nine friends that they sprayed the shoes once the bowling alley opens and when the bowling alley close. Don't you know how many feets go into those shoes per day??? Can somebody said with me... germs, fungus! Then after I express to him that I would definitely love for my shoes to be sprayed if possible, he still refused. So I kindly walked away, theeennnnn he yelled "Ma'am, I'll spray your shoes"... Then today instead of writing a review, I thought I could call and just tell someone about my germ experience, so, it won't happen to anyone else. But after trying multiple times... You got it! I could not get ahold of anyone. Then when I attempted to leave a voice message, let's just say the operator lady... was mean and cut me off several times. So yeah, I will not be returning without my own spray. And if I ever have to call again I'll definitely try a few times then if that attempt fail again... I'll be back!
Bowling was great and prices were fair, but i feel they should charge less for kids. I'm giving it four stars because the food we ordered never came. After 45 minutes we asked where our food was, but the order had gotten lost. It happens, but the employees did apologize.
I recently joined a league here and its so much fun! So far everyone has been helpful, especially since its my first time in a league. The food is good; our team usually orders a couple appetizers to share. The shop at the bowling alley, Ballards, has great employees. I do recommend checking the website or calling before visiting in the evenings because there are a lot of league teams and if its a league night, you may have to wait a while for a lane. The place is always nice and clean.
